Abstract: Collection and review of epidemiological and epizootic data on isolation of salmonellas from various sources is an important part of activities to control this zoonotic infection. In the Russian Federation, this work is carried out by the Reference Centre for Salmonelloses Monitoring at the FGUN Central Research Institute of Epidemiology with Rospotrebnadzor, together with Rosselkhoznadzor.
