Abstract: Prolificacy of sows it determined by age, number of farrowings, housing conditions, feeding, and veterinary well-being. However, these and other factors may not be so decisive if individuals are not genetically predisposed to prolificacy.
Keywords: prolificacy, sow, piglet, male pig, farrowing, feeding, diet, precocity, thoroughbred and mongrel animals, genes, breed, hybrid, ovum, gene fund, feeding efficiency, weight gain, feed conversion, Large White pig, Large Black pig, Ukrainian meat pig, Landrace pig, Pietrain pig, Yorkshire pig, suckling period, weaning, genotype.
Abstract: Sow fertilization rate depends on the quality of sperm, insemination time, estrus control, embryo survival rate, timely diagnosis of pregnancy, and management.

Research was conducted to receive data on meat qualities of the hybrid pigs developed with involvement of Body breed pigs in three and four breed crossing options. It was shown that use of the Body pigs in three- and four-breed crossing options improves quality of pig carcasses: they have thinner back fat, greater percent of meat and smaller percent of subcutaneous fat.
Keywords: pigs, Body breed, crossing, hybrids, slaughter products, subcutaneous fat, back fat, meat, carcass, Student’s criterion.
It has been experimentally proved that increase in sow feeding level four and two days prior to mating has a positive effect of formation of follicle-stimulating hormone and enhances ovulation in oligocarpous sows.
Keywords: prolificacy, ovulation, follicle-stimulating hormone, feeding level, mating, oligocarpous sows.
Enterprise Nazarovskoe — one of the largest agricultural companies in Russia — together with the company Big Dutchman is successfully implementing the project of installing a pig liquid feeding system Hydromix and a sensor piglet liquid feeding system HydroAir.

Degree of correlation of biological attributes in the animals developing at the influence of multiple factors can vary from zero to very high. Genetic possibility of improving economically useful attributes in animals primarily depends on the degree of this correlation.
